A rare find, this 1960 Garcia was made and dedicated to famous Mexican composer Roberto Cantoral. Cantoral had a life-term as president of the Mexican Society of Music Authors and Composers. His songs have been recorded by Placido Domingo and many others. Roberto Cantoral received many awards including Premio Anteno presented by the President of Mexico Felipe Calderon. Joaguin Garcia guitars rarely come up for sale and this guitar has a dedicated label that reads “For the distinquished artist, Sr. Roberto Cantoral, my friend with much affection, Joaguin Garcia.” August 4th 1960.
